- Can I use the Tokyo Child-raising Support Passport in the other prefectures?
- “Child-raising support passport program” similar to the “Tokyo Child-raising Support Passport program” are also carried out in the other prefectures. In cooperation with the prefectures, the Cabinet Office has worked to strengthen the system from April 1st, 2016. Thereby child-raising households and expectant mothers can receive support not only in the prefecture where they reside, but areas throughout Japan.
The Tokyo Child-raising Support Passport can thus be used in prefectures that are participating in this national campaign.
*As target household, service contents, identification of the user at the store, and the form of the passport vary according to prefecture and supporting establishments, please check the website of each prefecture for details.
